North Strabane Woman Jailed for Allegedly Stabbing Man Following Argument Over Dog
Chelsea Tinker was remanded to the Washington County Jail Wednesday afternoon after being unable to post bond.

A North Strabane Township woman was jailed Wednesday after being charged by township police ealier this month with allegedly stabbing a man following an argument over a dog.
Police filed aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment charges against Chelsea Tinker, 23, of 165 Willow St., on April 16.
According to the criminal complaint, North Strabane police were dispatched to the Canonsburg General Hospital emergency room that night in regard to a man who was receiving treatment for a stab wound to the chest.

The victim stated that he was engaged in an argument over a dog at 165 Willow St. when Tinker allegeldy grabbed a knife from the kitchen area and cut him as he attempted to remove the weapon from her, the criminal complaint indicates.
Officers noticed a "large laceration several inches long and several inches wide at the base of (the victim's) neck," according to court records.

Tinker was taken into custody by police Wednesday, and arraigned before district Judge Jay Weller.
She was remanded to the Washington County Jail after being unable to post a $25,000 bond.
Tinker is scheduled to appear before Weller at 10:45 a.m. April 30 for a preliminary hearing on the charges, according to online court records.
Online court records also indicate that Tinker was charged with DUI and other driving-related offensive March 20 following a March 6 incident. Court records indicate that she had appreared before Weller for a preliminary hearing on those charges Wednesday. Weller set a separate $5,000 bond for those charges, according to the Washington County Jail list.
