Obituary: Stephen J. Bistarkey,Jr.

Stephen Joseph Bistarkey, 79 years old of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Southview, died Friday, June 21, 2013 in Woodside Hospice House.

He was born May 27, 1934 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Stephen J. Bistarkey Sr. and the late Alberta Neihaus.

Stephen served in the US Air Force. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and had a hobby of collecting stuff.

He worked as a Ramp Supervisor for Northwest Airlines in Tampa.

Surviving are Wife, Ila Marie Bistarkey of Clearwater, FL, two sons, Steve Bistarkey of McDonald, and Dale (Barbara) Bistarkey of Oakdale,  five grandchildren Steve, Ryan, Dale Jr., Carolyn, and Nicholas and his wife Ashley, and a sister, Shirley Darras of Hickory.

Friends will be received 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 25 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt. 50) Cecil, where a Blessing Service will be held, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Father Stan Gregorek officiating.

Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
