ORIGINAL STORY: Two officers were shot, and one was killed in an ambush in Pennsylvania, officials said.
The ambush happened in Canonsburg, Washington County, after officers were sent to a reported domestic dispute on Woodcrest Drive around 3:15 a.m. Both were shot when they approached the front of the house, state police Trooper Melinda Bondarenka told WTAE.

The officers have not been identified, but one injured officer was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital, according to the report.

A search is underway for the suspected shooter, and police have not publicly identified that person, Bondarenka told WTAE.
