The 19-year-old woman is in the Washington County Jail after being able to post a $25,000 bond on Sunday afternoon.

Canonsburg police on Sunday arrested a West Virginia teenager for aggravated assault and other offenses after officers said she stabbed her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend.
Kristen Marie Schnelle, 19, was also charged with criminal attempt, simple assault and reckless endangerment, online court records show.
She was arraigned Sunday afternoon before district Judge James Ellis and remanded to the Washington County Jail after being unable to post a $25,000 bond, according to online court records.

According to the Observer-Reporter newspaper, police said Schnelle went to the home of her former boyfriend, Robert Cramer II, 32, after having reportedly seen pictures of the couple on Facebook.
The newspaper said that Cramer told police he and his girlfriend were asleep in bed when Schnelle reportedly began stabbing the woman, Aubrey Buehner, with a kitchen knife.

The paper indicated that Buehner was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of injuries.
While a hospital spokeswoman on Sunday afternoon said no information was being released about the woman, Canonsburg Mayor David H. Rhome said that police believed her injuries were not life threatening.
Regardless of the severity of the injury, Rhome said he is troubled by the alleged incident.
"I know it's so easy to say, but people need to reach out and get help if they feel they need it," he said. "The resources are there. People need to reach out to authorities and let us help them."
No further information was immediately available on Sunday afternoon.
