UPDATED: Power Outages in Canonsburg, Cecil and North Strabane Reported

Many West Penn Power customers are without power in northern Washington County.

According to a West Penn spokesman, about 1,900 customers are without power in Canonsburg, Cecil and North Strabane.

He said the storm knocked a tree into a power line on East Pike Street around 5:30 p.m.

The spokesman said that crews were on the scene and that they are almost done removing the tree from the roadway. He said power should be restored by around 7:30 p.m.
