Route 519 Reopened After Tractor-Trailer Crash

The driver was flown to a hospital by medical helicopter.

Route 519 in North Strabane is reopened Thursday afternoon after a tractor-trailer crashed around 10 a.m.

The driver of the truck suffered head and leg injuries and was flown to Allegheny General Hospital, according to the Observer-Reporter.

The truck was hauling a coil of metal and was headed south when it crashed near the municipal building.
