Second Sunday Acts Announced

Summertime means more live music at Town Park in Canonsburg.

The Second Sunday Concert Series is returning to the venue this summer—with the first performance slated for this Sunday.

Chairman Lou Gadani has announced all three acts for the series, which will be held at the park band shell beginning at 6:30 p.m. All concerts are free.
   
Interested? Here's what you need to know if you want to go:

  • June 9 – Abiline, a pure country/ rock/ jazz band. It’s making its first appearance in the area.  
  • July 14 – The Four Townsmen Show Band. Long a regional favorite, the Canonsburg-based band will be performing golden oldie classics of the ‘50s. ‘60s and 70s. 
  • Aug. 11 - Tony Janflone,Jr. This classic guitarist, one of Washington County’s finest, will be performing with his band.   
The park is also continuing with its “Summer Nights Series,” which will be held Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the pool.
