Egizio, a life-long Cecil resident, said on his campaign website that he decided to run for supervisor after attending myriad township meetings.
"I feel the public needs to be more adequately represented," the website indicates. "For the love of this community and the township, the thought of ever leaving this township has never entered my mind. After all, it is the number one place in Pennsylvania to raise a family."

And he said he has "built character and a work ethic that nobody can take from me."
He said he will draw on his experience as a paving foreman to fulfill the duties of supervisor.
"Being a paving foreman for 25 years, I received my Northeast Center for Excellence in Pavement Technology Certification from Penn State Main Campus. I have remained in good standing with the (Department of Transportation's District 11 office), and many engineering firms throughout western Pennsylvania, in the work my crews have performed for them," he said.
Egizio continued: :During the past 25 years, I have had the opportunity to meet and work alongside many local government officials. I have witnessed the good and the bad and how issues can be resolved."
He said those experiences have helped him understand how all departments of local government should be run.
"One of life's principles that I've always believed in is the quality of your preparation determines the quality of your performance," he wrote on his campaign website. "I believe I am prepared to serve and represent the
residents of Cecil Township."
One of his priorities? "I will see to it that your tax dollars are spent wisely and
not misused," he said.
Egizio and his wife, Kim, have two grown sons, Frank Jr. and Matthew.

Fisher is also vying for the seat.
She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Duquesne University and a master's degree in education from the school.
While she is currently a stay-at-home mom of three children, she worked for almost 10 years in the finance/real estate industry.
Fisher said she supports the responsible development of Marcellus Shale drilling.
"I am running for the position of township supervisor because I am devoted to preserving the qualities of this great community, which is why it was voted (the number one) place to raise a family. Similar to the many families I have spoken to, these qualities are why we moved our family of seven from a nearby township to Cecil Township," Fisher said.
She continued: "I have grown to love this great community, as well as its residents. If elected, I will work hard for the residents in maintaining the best qualities of our community, as well as work hard to progress our township to flourish into the future."
Fisher and her husband have five children—two 14-year-olds, Michael and Matthew, 4-year-old twin boys Logan and Joshua, and 1-year-old daughter, Brynn.

Also running is James "Jim" Passieu, who is a Cecil Township public works employee.
Passieu 61, has lived in the township for 59 years and worked for the township for 17.
He graduated from the Canon-McMillan School District in 1970. He has four years of experience with the Operating and Engineering Local #66 apprenticeship program.
Passieu said he has been in the union for 41 years.
He has previously worked for large companies in the area, including at Dick's Corp.
Passieu said he decided to run for supervisor because of his experience working with nearly every township department as an employee there.
"I think I know what the township residents need," he said.
Passieu said his is a family-run campaign, and that while he has no website of Facebook page, those interested in learning more about him may email him at jpieu@hotmail.com.
