Three Jailed on Drug Charges in Canonsburg

The incident leading to their arrests locked down two Canon-McMillan schools on Monday.

Canonsburg police arrested three people on drug charges Monday—arrests that prompted the lock down of two buildings in the Canon-McMillan School District.

Police charged Zaie Escribano, 32, and Paradise Wilson, 32, with possession, possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy. A third man, Keith Rosaro, 22, was charged with possession.

All three were arraigned by district Judge David Mark Monday and remanded to the Washington County Jail after failing to post $200,000 bond.

Both the Canon-McMillan High School and South Central Elementary School were locked down as a result of the arrests, according to the Observer-Reporter newspaper.

A traffic stop was initiated in North Strabane, and Escribano and Rosaro were taken into custody. Officers found two bricks of heroin, Ecstasy and cocaine, according to the newspaper. The estimated street value of all of the drugs is $4,000—and police confiscated $2,500 in cash.

While the two men were at the Canonsburg police station, police said Wilson showed up and told investigators the drugs belonged to her, according to the OR.
