'Blanket Brigade' Brings Comfort to Cancer Patients

Bridgeville Library hosts the Blanket Brigade once a month.

A local organization is doing something simple to bring comfort to those undergoing chemotherapy treatments at area hospitals.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported that the Blanket Brigade, a group that meets monthly at Bridgeville Public Library, is taking a little bit of time to make a big difference in the lives of cancer patients.

The group meets once a month, and makes fleece blankets, which are donated to patients at area hospitals.
