Fundraiser For Local Girl During CV Homecoming Carnival
Among the events of the carnival is a fundraiser for local student Sydney Hawk.
Chartiers Valley School District's Homecoming Carnival is this Wednesday, Sept. 18 and among the events of the day is a fundraiser for a local girl.
The Chartiers Valley Primary School Parent/Teacher Group booth will feature face painting and temporary tattoos, and proceeds will be donated to the family of Sydney Hawk, a local children recently diagnosed with leukemia.
Hawk, 3, is the daughter of Karin and Joe Hawk of Bridgeville. Her sister, Addison, is a student at Chartiers Valley Primary School.
The Homecoming Carnival is Sept. 18 from 3 to 8 p.m. in the stadium parking lot at Chartiers Valley High School.
The Homecoming football game is Friday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
