Local Drug, DUI Cases Headed to Court
Updates from the court of Magisterial District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet.

The following is an update on court cases scheduled before District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet on July 15. McGraw-Desmet oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township.
Two cases are headed to court following preliminary hearings before Magisterial District Judge Marueen McGraw-Desmet:
- Charges of use or possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and careless driving against Stormy Plute, 25, of Bridgeville, were held for court. Bridgeville police charged Plute on May 21. Formal arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 29 at the county courthouse.
- Charges of possession of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia against Carl Witzberger, 68, of Bridgeville, were held for court. Bridgeville police charged Witzberger on June 30. Formal arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 29 at the county courthouse.
Also in courts:
Christopher Andreou, 23, of Carnegie, waived to court charges of use or possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI (controlled substance), disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Collier Township police charged Andreou on May 18.
Charles Puklus, 32, of Canonsburg, waived to court charges of DUI and a vehicle violation. Bridgeville police charged Puklus on May 21.
