The Meadows Makes Strides To Fight Cancer

Employee/Family Walk Raises More Than $1,000

Hundreds of The Meadows employees, their families and members of the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) took to track in late July as part of the annual “Relay For Life” event, which raised $1,066.25 for the American Cancer Society.

Hundreds of individuals walked for 2 hours in an effort to raise funds for cancer research and support. The event included a DJ and free giveaways for participants.

“Each year, the employees and families of The Meadows and MSOA have supported this event with such great enthusiasm,” said Diane White, market manager of the American Cancer Society. “While many of them have seen the how cancer can impact a family, they have remained focused on continuing the fight for an eventual cure.”
