Swallow Hill Road Project Moving Forward
The progress of this project depends, in part, on the completion of the Scrubgrass Run project.

The Swallow Hill Road project might begin later than anticipated, but the project is moving forward, according to a report from The Almanac following Tuesday's Scott Township Commissioners' agenda meeting.
A field survey and traffic counts have been done for Swallow Hill Road, utility companies have been notified of the pending work, and the township's engineering firm has been in discussion with contractors about the possibility of completing at least part of the project by the end of the year.
Repairs to Swallow Hill Road from Greentree to Scrubgrass roads are estimated at $1.5 million, according to the report.
The Almanac reports that progress on Swallow Hill Road depends, in part, on PennDOT’s progress with work on Scrubgrass Run. Because Swallow Hill Road is the detour for Scrubgrass Run, work cannot begin until the Scrubgrass project is complete.
