Update: Missing 4 Year Old Found Safe in North Carolina

Raymont Pope, who was abducted by a noncustodial parent on September 10, was found safe and in good health this morning.

Allegheny County Police announced that Raymont Pope, age 4, was found safe and in good health this morning in North Carolina.

County Police, in conjunction with the FBI Crimes Against Children Task Force, have been investigating the child’s disappearance since September 10.

Their nationwide search led them to Greensboro, North Carolina. Greensboro Police took Radford Pope, the boy’s father, into custody, and were able to locate the child with the help of the FBI.

“He is in the process of being reunited with his mother,” according to a release from the Allegheny County Police.
