Win Steelers Tickets With Bridgeville Historical Society
Historical society members will be in the community this weekend selling raffle tickets.

Steelers tickets can be pricey, but if you’re willing to take a chance, you might find yourself at Heinz Field this September for a fraction of the cost.
Bridgeville Area Historical Society is raffling off two tickets to the Sept. 8 Steelers game against the Tennessee Titans. The game starts at 1 p.m.
Raffle tickets are $5 each and the historical society has 300 to sell—pretty good odds for winning, said society volunteer Karen Godwin.

“We’re hoping we can sell all of the (raffle) tickets,” Godwin said. “It’s going to give us a good part of our budget next year. With these kind of odds, it’s more likely that people will have that chance to win, too.”
The Steelers tickets were donated to the historical society, and all proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit Bridgeville Historical Society.

Raffle tickets are available at the Bridgeville Historical Society building—“The Caboose” at the corner of Railroad and Station streets—Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Members of the historical society also will sell tickets outside of the South Fayette Shop ‘N Save on Washington Pike, and outside of Portman Farms on Washington Pike, on Aug. 24 and Aug. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The winner will be notified by phone on Aug. 30.
