200 Properties Up for Sheriff Sale Friday

Northampton County's next sheriff sale is set for Friday, May 10. There are at least 200 properties that will go on the block.

This monthly public auction will begin at 10 a.m. in county council chambers at the Northampton County Courthouse, 669 Washington St., Easton. Call (610) 559-3000 for details.

Rules for the sale include:

• All persons attending sheriff sales shall be dressed in the proper attire.
• No eating or drinking is allowed in council chambers where the sheriff sale is conducted.
• All cell phones and pagers are to be turned off during the sale.

The last sale, held on April 5, included 190 properties.
