Allentown Schools Postpone Jan. 24 SAT
A winter storm bearing down on the region has prompted schools to postpone the Jan. 24 SAT test.
Schools around the region have canceled the Saturday, Jan. 24, administering of the SAT test due to an impending winter storm.
The following Allentown high schools have postponed the Jan. 24 SAT test until Feb. 7.
- Roberto Clemente Charter School, at 136 S. 4th St.
- William Allen, at 106 N. 17th St.
- Louis E. Dieruff, at 815 N. Irving St.
- ASD Virtual Academy, at 31 S Penn St.
A winter storm is expected to make its way through the region this weekend, beginning Friday night. According to a winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service, the Lehigh Valley can expect to see between 3 and 5 inches of snow, along with a trace of ice. Residents can expect snow and sleet on Saturday, becoming all snow after noon, according to the NWS.
