Details Of Fatal 3-Vehicle Wreck On I-78 Released
One person was killed and others were injured in a three-vehicle traffic wreck on I-78, according to State Police.
A pickup truck rolled over multiple times in a Friday New Jersey crash that left the driver with serious injuries and the woman passenger dead, police said
At 10:53 a.m., the State Police were called to a three vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of I-78 at milepost 4.4. in Greenwich Township in Warren County, police said.
A Ford Fusion in the left-center lane collided with a pickup truck towing a motorcycle trailer, which was in the left lane, police said.

The pickup lost control, rolled over and struck the cab of a state Department of Transportation work truck.
The woman passenger of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver of that truck was airlifted to a hospital. One DOT worker was treated for minor injuries, police said.

There were two adults and one child in the Ford Fusion, which hit a crash attenuator at the rear of the DOT truck. They were not seriously injured.
State Police Fatal Accident and Crime Scene Investigations Units continue to assist station personnel with the investigation. The victims are not yet being identified.
The crash and subsequent response shut down most eastbound lanes for a couple of hours, causing major delays and miles of traffic in the vicinity, police said.
