City of Easton: City Launches New Rapid Permits Program

The Department of Planning and Codes is beginning a new Rapid Permits Program to help homeowners get permits and schedule inspections without waiting days or weeks.Homeowners can apply for a rapid permit to replace a water heater, roof, or up to a 200A electrical service, and have their permit in about 15 minutes.When a complete application is submitted, residents can leave City Hall with a permit card and a scheduled inspection so that they can conveniently schedule their project. Applications can be downloaded via the button below, or completed at City Hall. (NOTE: The program is only available for one- and two-family dwellings.)We expect to roll out additional options to help homeowners maintain and enhance their properties with as little red tape as possible.http://bit.ly/RapidPermitsProgram
