Easton Ends Phillipsburg's Perfect Season In State Line Game
Easton defeated its rival Phillipsburg, in the 111th version of the State Line Game. The Rovers ended the Stateliners' perfect season, too.
EASTON, PA -- The State Line game is one of the most anticipated Thanksgiving games in the country, and in 2017, Easton and Phillipsburg certainly showed why. The Rovers ended the Stateliners' quest for a perfect season in the game's final minute.
Easton ended its season with its third straight win in the series, which is played at Lafayette College. Phillipsburg will conclude its season in the North Jersey 2 Group 4 State Final on Dec. 2.
