In addition to the 4-mile race, festivities will also include a free Kids Fun Run for children 3 to 7 years of age. The most patriotically dressed child will be awarded a special prize. The Firecracker 4-Miler embodies the Y’s cause by being available for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Adults, children, and families are given the ability to raise their spirits and their heartbeats through this fun and competitive event. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser will support youth wellness programs at the Greater Valley YMCA Easton/Phillipsburg branch.
