Easton Police Arrest Man for Vehicle Break-In

A man was arrested for breaking into a vehicle on Washington Street in Easton.

A man was arrested in the early morning of Thursday, Jan. 29, for breaking into a vehicle after an Easton resident reported a male entering cars.

Easton Police said the break-in happened on the 1300 block in Washington Street and the man was taken into custody at 4:25 a.m. Thursday, according to a Facebook post from police.

This arrest comes a day after Easton Police informed residents in a separate Facebook post of several vehicle break-ins that have occurred on the South Side of the city over the last week. Police advised residents to always lock their car doors and remove all valuables from their vehicles.

Additionally, residents were urged to report any suspicious activity either by calling 911 or by calling the Northampton County non-emergency number (610)759-2200.
