Easton Woman Charged in Cooking Meth; Bangor Man Charged with Selling Meth

Two arrested on methamphetamine charges in Easton.

Police in Easton have arrested a woman who they say assisted in the production of methamphetamine at the Hotel Lafayette, in addition to arresting a man who allegedly sold the drug.

Emily Fatzinger, 22, of Palmerton, and Richard Walterick III were arrested after allegedly operating a meth lab out of a hotel room in which they lived at the Hotel Lafayette, according to The Express-Times.

Police searched the hotel room and found chemicals and equipment needed to cook the drug after encountering Walterick on Nov. 26, while allegedly carrying a partial meth lab, the newspaper reported. Walterick was arrested and subsequently charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, operating a methamphetamine lab, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of ephedrine, according to The Express-Times in November.

Fatzinger was known to be involved in the distribution of methamphetamine after police saw her with Keith Allen Williams, 29, of Bangor, during the sale of one gram of the drug, the newspaper reports. She and Williams were arrested Thursday after police searched Williams’ home.

Fatzinger is facing charges of operating a methamphetamine lab, manufacturing drugs, possession of chemicals used to make meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy, The Express-Times said. She is being held at Northampton County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Williams has been charged with selling methamphetamine, criminal use of a cell phone and drug possession, the newspaper said. He was transported to Northampton County Prison and is being held on $20,000 bail.
