Greater Valley YMCA Easton/Phillipsburg Branch Launches Campaign

Funds Will Help Make a Stronger Community for Area Residents

The Greater Valley YMCA Easton/Phillipsburg branch kicked off its 2018 Annual Campaign with an evening event at the Boser Geist Brewery in Easton. At the kickoff event, Laura Accetta, Long Term Disability Case Manager for Guardian Life Insurance Company, presented a one thousand dollar donation on behalf of her employer.

The event marks the start of the Y’s annual fundraising effort and gives the organization an opportunity to thank board members, donors and volunteers for their generosity. Every day, the Greater Valley YMCA Easton/Phillipsburg branch works to support people in Easton, Phillipsburg and the surrounding communities.

“Without friends in the community such as Guardian Life Insurance, The Y could not do what we do for our community,” said Lori Metz, Easton/Phillipsburg Branch Executive Director, “The Y is more than a gym, it’s a cause. As a charity, this gift will help us to feed hungry children that come to us in the morning before school, whose families do not have the means to feed them breakfast “
