Forks YMCA Education Center Hosts Annual Child Care Art Show

The pieces that the center's young artists created will be on display and auctioned off to raise money for scholarships.

The Greater Valley YMCA Forks Education Center is hosting the annual child care art show on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm. This year’s theme is “Artists from Around the World” and children from the center will be displaying the works they created in the gymnasium of the Easton/Phillipsburg Branch located at 1225 West Lafayette Street, Easton, PA. Children, from birth through fifth grade, work year round with their classroom teachers to create art based on a theme.

The pieces that the center's young artists created will be on display and auctioned off to raise money for scholarships. When a child makes, looks at, and talks about art and the artwork of others they gain valuable skills. The art show was created to infuse the arts more fully into the center's curriculum.

There will also be delicious refreshments to enjoy while viewing the art show.
