Lafayette Drops 153rd Meeting With Lehigh
Lafayette lost its third straight, and 70th overall, to Lehigh in the country's most-played college football game.
EASTON, PA -- Lafayette collected its eighth loss of the season and 70th loss of the series against Lehigh on Nov. 18. Even worse, the visitors had the halftime lead, but they lost it thanks to a dominating Lehigh performance in the second half.
The Leopards have beaten the Mountain Hawks only twice since 2008. Lafayette last defeated its rival at Yankee Stadium in 2014. Most of the seniors were freshmen that season, and they couldn't bookend their time in the series with wins.
