Lifeguard Certification Course Offered at Easton YMCA

The Greater Valley YMCA Easton/Phillipsburg branch will conduct a lifeguard certification course on May 19, 20 and 27, 2018. To register for this course students need to be at least 15 years old and be able to swim continuously for 300 yards. Upon successful completion of this course, through a sequence of written and technical skills, participants will be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer, Life-Guarding, Automatic External Defibrillation Essentials and First Aid Basics.

This course will be offered to the community at a cost of $250.00 for Y members and $300.00 for non-members.

Registration for this program will take place at Easton/Phillipsburg branch, 1225 West Lafayette Street, Easton, PA, during YMCA hours of operation; Monday through Friday 5:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturdays 7:30 am-6:00 pm and Sundays 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. You can also register online at www.gv-ymca.org.
