UPDATE: Standoff Ends After Barricaded Man Exits Palmer Township Home
Police reported to the 800 block of Sheridan Drive Friday morning for a report of a man possibly barricaded in a home.

UPDATE: A police standoff ended shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, Feb. 6, after a man who barricaded himself in a Palmer Township home exited after several hours, The Express-Times reported.
The man, identified as Nick Viscomi, exited the home at 810 Sheridan Drive after police reportedly lobbed tear gas into the home, according to The Express-Times.
Police reported to a home in the 800 block of Sheridan Drive on Friday morning for a man who barricaded himself in the home, authorities said.

Easton, Palmer Township and Pennsylvania State police reported to the scene and began calling for the man in question, identified as Viscomi, to show himself, according to The Express-Times.
Viscomi reportedly has several outstanding warrants for his arrest, including a March 2014 warrant out of Bethlehem for acquiring or obtaining a controlled substance through misrepresentation and intent to possess a controlled substance and a July 2014 warrant for bad checks in Pen Argyl, The Express-Times reported.

According to The Express-Times, police reported to the scene with a number of armored vehicles and closed a portion of Sheridan Drive, between Vaughn Street and Nicole Place, around 1 a.m. Friday.
