Patrolman Thomas Chant pulled the car over near Sam Pitts Road just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, after seeing the vehicle speeding and not maintaining its lane of travel, Parker said. Chant conducted roadside sobriety tests of Montoro, who failed them, and arrested him on a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
