The tenth annual conference being held at LCCC on Columbus Day offers early childhood educators "A Kaleidoscope of Learning."

Registration for the Lehigh Valley Early Care & Education Professional Development Day is now open. The conference, sponsored by Penn State Extension in Lehigh County, and supported by a generous contribution by Capital Blue Cross, provides on-going professional development for early childhood educators in Northampton and Lehigh counties. The theme of the tenth annual all-day conference being held at Lehigh Carbon Community College on Monday, October 10, 2016, from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, is “A Kaleidoscope of Learning.”
Early childhood education practitioners are each at a unique place in their professional development, therefore this year’s conference will offer participants a choice of workshops to attend.
“With the theme of “A Kaleidoscope of Learning” this conference will offer a day filled with opportunities to increase competence in working with children of various learning styles, cultures and abilities,” said Denise Continenza, a conference planning board member.
