Route 22 Ramp in Phillipsburg Will Close Monday
Bridge commission says it needs time to remove a large fallen tree near Broad Street exit on Route 22.
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission says it will close the Route 22 east Broad Street exit ramp in Phillipsburg for most of the day Monday.
The commission needs that time to remove a large fallen tree near the ramp.
"The 70-foot-long tree is in a precarious position, representing a potential future hazard for motorists who use the roadway," the DRJTBC said in a news release.
The ramp will shut down at 7 a.m. and stay closed until late afternoon. Drivers are asked to find an alternate route.
