Saucon Valley Considers Strip Searching Students

Strip searching students in the Saucon Valley School District is part of a new proposal that was unanimous approved in draft form at a board meeting Wednesday, according to the Morning Call.

It is not yet known whether the strip searching will remain in the proposal’s final form, the report states.

Some board members interviewed after the meeting said they were not even aware that strip searching was a part of the proposal, according to the report.

The seven page proposed policy deals largely with student security and permitted items, the report states.
