Say It Ain't Snow! Chance of Flakes Overnight

Ready or not, here it comes: There’s a chance of snow overnight Thursday.

Total accumulation is likely to be less than an inch, the National Weather Service says.

Rain will change to snow between 10 p.m. Thursday and 2 a.m. Friday, the NWS said, leading to “a very slight accumulation of snow on grassy areas and cars.”

Skies will clear Friday morning, and temperatures will rise to just above freezing, which is prime condition for ice formation, the NWS said.
