Suddenly Samantha Offers Free Christmas Day Haircuts
Easton salon will open its doors to those who can't afford a haircut, or who have nowhere else to go on Christmas.
When most people are celebrating Christmas next week, Stephen Flowers will be cutting hair.
As he did last year, Flowers will open his downtown Easton salon Suddenly Samantha on Christmas Day to any who needs a haircut but can't afford one.
Flowers said his invitation isn't simply for needy people, but for those who might not have anywhere else to go on Christmas.
He said he'll start giving haircuts around 3 p.m., and stay open until the demand lifts. Earlier this year, Flowers opened the salon —at 140 Northampton St.—to needy kids who wanted back-to-school haircuts.
