Wolf Building Will Become 50 Apartments

Easton's Planning Commission has approved a proposal to turn the Governor Wolf building into 50 high-end apartments, according to published reports.

Developers Mark Mulligan and William Vogt made an agreement to buy the N. Second Street building last year for $1.9 million. 

On Wednesday night, Mulligan laid out plans to rehab the building, which has been a school and government offices for Northampton County. 

It's next incarnation: 50 units of apartments spread across five floors, with rents higher than the $900-$1400 range at Mulligan's Pomeroy property, the Morning Call reported.

The Express-Times says Mulligan hopes to close on the property by April, and to have tenants in the Wolf building by next fall. 

In addition to the Pomeroy project and the Wolf building, Mulligan's companies also own the National and Alpha buildings in downtown Easton.
