A Big Thanks to Our Emmaus Community Heroes
Community Heroes Day draws countless volunteers and a crowd of appreciative citizens to Emmaus Public Library Wednesday night.

The 12th annual Community Heroes Day at the Emmaus Public Library brought out 152 attendees, according to Martha Vines, children's librarian and the creator and organizer of the now-yearly event. The program, which ran from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, is designed to be a chance to say "thank you" to the men and women who help to keep our community safe.
According to Vines, the following list of volunteers helped to make the 2013 Community Heroes Day possible:
