Hatfield, Pennsylvania – Alderfer’s Auctioneers & Appraisers is happy to announce that Timothy J. Lovrinic has joined its dynamic sales team. Mr. Lovrinic brings over 20 years of experience working in the fine and decorative arts industry
Early on, Tim was greatly influenced by participating in Winterthur Museum’s Winter Institute. This education lead to a lifetime love of all traditional Americana and material culture. Subsequently, his passion for traditional Americana evolved to include the original artists of the New Hope School, Bucks County Impressionist School of Artists, modernist movement founders Phillip Powell, George Nakashima and Paul Evans among many others, from what was termed, “The Genius Belt” by James A. Michener.
Growing up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Tim’s education in antiques and the arts began traveling through the Mid-Atlantic region with his family. Their business, ultimately settling in Lambertville, New Jersey, developed a reputation as a source for quality items, sold with honesty and integrity. Nearly as important however, their business was a hub where friends and new acquaintances alike would come to sit and talk about whatever their passions were. Tim is also an Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) certified appraiser. He loves to spend time with his wife and children in the New Hope Pennsylvania area where they currently reside.
