Badly Injured Man Found In Parking Lot After Reports Of Shots Fired In Allentown

A badly injured man who is about 36 years old was found in a parking lot near a bar on Friday morning after reports of shots fired in the area, according to police.

The man was lying in a parking lot near the South Howard Street alley, close to the Brooklyn Bar on Hamilton Street that was about to close, police said.

The man was apparently not shot, but had several blunt force trauma type injuries on his body, according to police. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and stabilized.

Indications are that a fight in the bar spilled outside at about 1:59 a.m., police said.
