Carnivals and Prizes This Week in Emmaus

The Emmaus Public Library will award its adult summer readers this week with prize drawings at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Family Fun Night at the library also wraps up for the summer this week with a program by Emmaus Borough Councilman Brian Holtzhafer at 7 p.m. Thursday that focuses on the water cycle.

Tuesday and Thursday bring government meetings in Emmaus, with the Civil Service Commission set to meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Room in Emmaus Borough Hall and the Special Entertainment Commission scheduled for a 2 p.m. meeting on Thursday, followed by a 3 p.m. Public Works Committee meeting.

Upper Milford Board of Supervisors also meets Thursday night, with a 7 p.m. workshop meeting followed by a 7:30 p.m. regular meeting. Both are in the township building.

Upper Milford Youth Association's Summer Kickball Program continues this week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in Lenape Park.
