Carrie Underwood Announced as First Headliner for 2015 Allentown Fair

The queen of country music to be a headliner at next year's fair.

Carrie Underwood is the first of six headlining acts to be announced for the Allentown Fair.

Underwood, a six-time Grammy Award winner who has had all four of her albums reach platinum record status and No. 1 on the country music charts, will be performed at the fair for the second time, according to The Morning Call. She first appeared at the Allentown Fair in 2007, two years after winning the fourth season of American Idol, drawing a crowd of nearly 7,000 people.

It is the second-earliest a headlining performer has been announced for an upcoming fair. Keith Urban was announced as a 2010 headliner during the 2009 Allentown Fair, according to The Morning Call.

Tickets will go on sale for $87 and $67 for reserved seats on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available for purchase through the Fair box office, Ticketmaster.com, over the phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
