Emmaus Christmas Tree Shopping Guide For 2020
Many local Christmas tree farmers are taking coronavirus precautions to ensure you and yours have a jolly holiday.
Emmaus, PA — As the ongoing coronavirus pandemic threatens a long list of 2020’s quintessential holiday traditions, it might still be possible to find the right Christmas tree for your family this year — and do it safely.
At least 25 million real Christmas trees are sold each year across America, and currently, 350 million are growing in all 50 U.S. states. And despite these unprecedented times, the practice will continue this year. Christmas tree lots and choose-and-cut farms nationwide are taking precautions as COVID-19 cases rise to ensure patrons can take home their perfect tree with minimal risk to their family's health and safety.
In fact, the National Christmas Tree Association has circulated a special guide with recommendations and best practices for Christmas tree sellers to follow, including frequently sanitizing items and areas such as hand saws, tree cart handles, countertops, door handles and restrooms.
