Emmaus Dash and Splash – July 20, 2016 – 6:30pm

Emmaus Community Park, 28 S 4th St, Emmaus, PA 18049

Proceeds from this race will benefit the Emmaus Special Entertainment Commission and the Emmaus parks system which is host to over 40 FREE events each year. Race registration includes FREE admission to the pool. Race is Rain or Shine (NO Pool if thunder or lightning occurs.) The 3.1 mile course starts at Community Park, meanders’ through the streets of the town’s south side, and finishes with a gradual decline for the last mile before returning to Community Park. The course offers a few early inclines as it makes its way towards Rodale Headquarters but eventually levels off and those hills you cursed early quickly become your friend on the way back to the park. You’re sure to find that second wind. Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Overall (Male + Female) (Cash: $100, $75, $50); 1st and 2nd Place Age Groups (Male + Female) 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ (Gift Certificates); Special Prize For Most Patriotic (Prize to be Determined). Cost: $20 until 7/10; $25 until 7/19; $30 race day.
