Gas Prices in Emmaus Continue to Drop

OK, Emmaus, we’ve got good news and then even better news for you when it comes to filling up your gas tank this week.

Prices nationally are still dropping. Prices in Pennsylvania are down too. And, they're expected to keep dropping as we approach the holidays.

According to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report, the national average for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline fell .4 cents from a week ago to $3.24 and the Pennsylvania average dropped 2.5 cents to $3.323 per gallon.

The Lehigh Valley average is on-par with the rest of the state, falling 2.2 cents since last week and hitting $3.283 per gallon.

Now for the really good news: Gas prices in the 18049 zip code are even better, showing prices anywhere from 3 to 7 cents below the Lehigh Valley average price, according to gasbuddy.com.

On Tuesday afternoon four stations in the 18049 zip code were listing prices below the Lehigh Valley average, according to gasbuddy.com.

• $3.21 - 7-Eleven at 1146 Chestnut St. & S 12th Street
• $3.23 - Hess at 4002 Chestnut St. 
• $3.23 - Turkey Hill at 602 Chestnut St & S 6th Street
• $3.25 - Exxon, 14 E Main St. & Klines Lane
