One Dead, One Injured After Allentown Shooting
A man who was killed during after being shot in Allentown Tuesday morning has been identified.

A shooting on early morning Tuesday has left one man dead and another man injured, according to police.
Joseph Carrero, 24, of the 900 block of Pine Street where the shooting occurred, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to LehighValleyLive.com. Carrero died after suffering a gunshot wound to the chest, the website reports. The death has been ruled a homicide by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and an autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.
The second victim was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital for treatment, according to LehighValleyLive.com. Police have yet release any information about the condition of the second victim or the severity of the injury.

Police do not have any suspects in custody, nor have they released any information about suspects. Allentown Police, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office are investigating the incident.
