Signups for Upper Milford Youth Soccer, Lacrosse End Soon

Boys and girls interested in playing soccer this fall can still get on an Upper Milford Youth Association team if they register before Saturday, according to the Upper Milford Youth Association Facebook page.

The regular registration period for soccer ended on Aug. 15, but UMYA is accepting late registrations (for a slight additional fee) until Aug. 31.

UMYA is also still registering players for its newest sports program -- lacrosse. For this first year, lacrosse at UMYA will be a beginner/developmental program designed to introduce the sport of lacrosse, according to UMYA President Matt Skekel.

Lacrosse is open to boys and girls age 11 and below and all practices will be held on Sunday afternoons at Lenape Park in Zionsville.

Families can register for both sports online through the UMYA website.
