The suspects, two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old, allegedly did not commit the crimes because they were hungry, according to police.
Police called it “thug-like” behavior, stating that the suspects wanted to harass and rob people.

The first incident occurred outside a restaurant on Montclair Avenue, where the teens waited in a nearby parking lot before grabbing a bag of food from an exiting man and running off, police said.
The second event occurred at Morton and Martell streets, where teens attacked and robbed food from a Lehigh University student who had just left a store, according to police.
