Closures Planned for Parkway East On-Ramp

Overnight closures on the ramp from northbound South Braddock Avenue to inbound Parkway East (I-376) in Edgewood and Swissvale will continue Monday, July 8, weather permitting. 

The ramp closure will occur Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. through Monday, July 15. 

Crews will be replacing expansion dams. Signs will be posted to guide motorists.

Posted detour:

·        Follow South Braddock Avenue north

·        Left onto Forbes Avenue

·        Left onto Murray Avenue

·        Bear right onto Forward Avenue

·        Access ramp to westbound I-376

The on-ramp to the inbound Parkway East from southbound South Braddock Avenue will remain open.

PennDOT asks drivers to please allow extra time when traveling through the area and consider alternate routes.
