1. —Activities including entertainment, fireworks and lots of food start at 12 p.m. Saturday and run through fireworks at 9 p.m.
2. —The 1.5-mile fun run/walk through the streets of Regent Square is for the whole family, including dogs, and starts at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday.

3. Car Cruise—Churchill Haus, a new tavern in the Beulah Road Shopping Center, 700 Brown Ave., Wilkins Township, is having a car cruise featuring oldies by DJ Monster Mike from 96.9 BOB; barbecue ribs, chicken and kabobs; Coors Lite Girls; raffle and giveaways starting at 5 p.m. Saturday.
4. —Animal Nature is having a dog wash at 10 a.m. Saturday, 7610 Forbes Ave. Cost is $10.

5. —World-renowned Squonk Opera will perform "GO Roadshow," a musical street spectacle on wheels, to celebrate the planting of an orchard to provide fresh, organic produce to families in need at noon Sunday at Second United Presbyterian Church in Wilkinsburg. This event is free.
