Homicide on 5th Avenue

At roughly 8:37 am this morning the Duquesne Police were dispatched to 613 S. 5th Ave. in response to a 911 call about a stabbing and possible domestic dispute there. There they found a 35 year old black male suffering from a single stab wound to the chest. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead from that wound.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police homicide unit initiated an investigation and determined that during a domestic dispute Brooke Coleman stabbed the victim. Coleman was taken into custody and charged with criminal homicide. She was lodged at the Allegheny County Jail to await arraignment. No photo is available.
